We use the information we collect about you to process the your payment to despatch the cards selected and any products purchased. Please read on for more details about our privacy policy. 1. Data Controllers of personal information Any personal information provided to this or other Ecelebrations™ domain name directed to the Website, is controlled primarily by Ecelebrations Ltd. whose registered office is at 15 - 19 Cavendish Place, London W1M 0DD, England. All information collected will only be collected and retained on record with the express consent of the data subject. 2. How do we use the information we collect? When you use the services of the Website, we need to know your name, email address, delivery address, credit or debit card number and the card's expiry date. This allows us to process your payment, fulfil product orders and to notify you of the status of your order. We also ask for your telephone number, which enables us to contact you urgently if there is a problem with the delivery or fulfillment of any products you order. We also require your email address, to enable the Website to send email advice regarding when the ecard has been sent, received and read etc. as is described in the site Help. When you submit an ecard for dispatch, we also ask for the recipient's email address to ensure we can route the greeting to the recipient. When you enter a contest or other promotional feature, we may ask for your name, address and email address so we can administer the contest and notify winners. We may personalise your Website experience by using your selections to shape our recommendations about merchandise that might be of interest to you. We also monitor customer traffic patterns and site usage to help us develop the design and layout of the store. What has it got to do with privacy? P3P (Privacy Preferences Platform) was established by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) to provide internet users with a sense of privacy when surfing the internet. W3C is the official web standards body, which essentially attempts to bring law and order to the Internet. P3P started to allay consumer concern about the amount of data collected by web sites. The idea is that any site gathering information about its users should state why it wants the information, and how long information will be retained for.
